Standard Limited Warranty

Warranty - Clay Express warrants all shooting target products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of twelve months from the original date of retail purchase.  Clay Express warrants the enclosed hardware (where applicable) to be delivered free from physical defects for a period of twelve months from the day of retail purchase.  Repair Procedures, Exclusive Remedy

Clay Express will at its option, repair, or replace products not conforming to this limited warranty at no charge.  THIS IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AVAILABLE FOR BREACH OF WARRANTY OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY WITH RESPECT TO CLAY EXPRESS.  If you find a product to be defective, contact us at 402-988-8217.  When you receive authorization, return the product as directed.  Product repairs not covered by warranty, and product updates, will be provided at a set rate.

Limitations - This warranty is void if the product is damaged by improper or abnormal use or by accident;  if the product is altered or modified in any way other than those directed by official Clay Express instructions; or if any attempt is made to repair the product without authorization from Clay Express.  It is solely the purchaser’s responsibility to determine the suitability of these products for each particular application.  Clay Express targets are intended for target shooting only.  Clay Express targets are in all events not suitable, and are not authorized for use in any situations that might pose potentially injurious to life and health, other than those situations that the products are intended for.  This warranty is not assignable or transferable.

No Other Warranties - EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SET FORTH IN THE WARRANTY CARD SUPPLIED WITH CLAY EXPRESS PRODUCTS AND INSTRUCTION SHEETS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS”.  ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND REPRESENTATIONS, ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE EXCLUDED AND DO NOT APPLY.  THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HERE OF.  Except as required by law, no representative, agent of employee of Clay Express is authorized to make warranties, representations, or obligations inconsistent with or in additions to set forth in this limited warranty.

No Damages - IN NO EVENT WILL CLAY EXPRESS BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM BREACH OF WARRANTY OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.  In no event will Clay Express be liable for sums in excess of the purchase price of the product.  Clay Express is thus not liable for lost profits or goodwill; downtime; damage or destruction of items or equipment used with, or in conjunction with, Clay Express; personal injury or loss; or any other damages.

General - This agreement is the entire agreement between you and Clay Express; supercedes any prior of different agreements, representations, or proposals; and may be changed only by written agreement with Clay Express. (b) Waiver by any party of any default or breach of this agreement will not constitute a waiver of any subsequent default of breach.

    • FAILURE TO READ AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
    • ALWAYS wear eye protection when shooting at steel targets to prevent eye injury from flying particles.
    • ALWAYS wear ear protection when shooting at steel targets to prevent ear injury.
    • ALWAYS wear proper clothing when shooting at steel targets to prevent injury to flesh.
    • ONLY use the recommended caliber gun and ammunition to shoot at each individual target.
    • DO NOT allow bystanders to stand in front of the firing line.
    • ALWAYS make sure bystanders wear eye and ear protection.
    • ALWAYS inspect the target thoroughly before using to insure moving parts are working properly.
    • NEVER, under any circumstances, fire at a target from less than 25 yards.
    • ALWAYS know your target and what surrounds it.
    • DO NOT shoot at this product if under the influence of medication, alcohol, or drugs.
    • DO NOT lend this product to others unless they read and understand all warnings and usage instructions.
    • DO NOT use .22 rim fire magnums, 17HMR, center fire handguns, or rifles, or black powder guns on this target.

WARNING - Shooting at steel targets can be hazardous.  Jacketed service ammunition is particularly dangerous.  When firing metallic ammunition, the shooter and observers distance to steel targets must be at least 25 yards.  Steel targets may send bullet splatter back toward the firing line.  Eye protection, with side shields, ear protection, and proper clothing must be worn by everyone within 75 yards.  When a reactive steel target is hit, bullet ricochet or fragment splatter can be deflected back toward the shooter(s).  The use of lead free composite (non-metallic) frangible ammunition, which disintegrates upon impact and eliminates fragmentation and metallic splatter, is strongly recommended for use with steel targets.  Use extreme caution when positioning steel targets on the firing range to minimize ricocheting of bullet fragments back to the firing line.  Range safety rules should be strictly observed and followed.
